Assessment And Evaluation
Scholastic and co-scholastic evaluation of students will be done as per guidelines laid down by CBSE, Delhi.
FOR CLASSES P.G. TO 5
Assessment is done keeping in view the different competency requirements of the learners of these classes. There is no detention in these classes and the students are evaluated through worksheets, oral and written work, collaborative and inter-disciplinary project work etc. Mid-Term and Annual Examinations are done through pen and paper tests.
FOR CLASSES 6 TO ONWARDS
There are two terms in a session. The First Term will have Pre Mid-Term Examination, to be held before Summer Vacation, and Mid-Term Examination, to be held before Puja Holidays, and the Second Term will have Post Mid-Term Examination, to be held before Winter break, and Annual Examination, to be held at the end of the session.
Annual assessment (100 marks) will consist of the following:
Average of the best two tests of pre/post/mid-term examination: 10 marks Note book submission: 5 marks
Subject enrichment (project/ASL/Lab activities/Practical works etc): 5 marks Annual examination: 80 marks
Students will also be assessed on their co-scholastic activities as also regularity of attendance, conduct, behaviour, punctuality, grooming etc.
Class 10 annual examination (AISSE) will be conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.
PARENTS-TEACHERS MEETINGS
One parents-teachers meeting is held in each term and another on the Result Days for Mid- Term/Half Yearly and Annual Examination of their wards and parents/guardians must compulsorily attend these meetings to interact with concemed class teachers and other teachers.
